Delight Pastry is a picturesque pastry shop located in Old Town Pasadena. However, a major downside is the lack of street parking. The nearest parking option is the One Colorado Garage, which has a flat rate of $11 all day on weekends and after 5pm on Fridays. It's pretty expensive for parking, so I'd recommend carpooling if you can. The ambiance inside is stunning--perfect for Instagram! The marble accents and floral decor give it an elegant and artistic feel, and the pastries themselves look like little works of art. The staff was friendly and provided some recommendations when I asked, which I appreciated. Here's what I tried: 1) Rose Lychee Croissant ($6.50) - Visually, this was a standout with its pretty pink color and flaky texture. Unfortunately, the flavors didn't live up to expectations. The rose and lychee notes were barely noticeable, and the jam inside was dry with a strong almond extract flavor that overpowered everything else. Disappointing overall, I'd recommend getting a different croissant. 2) Lavender Honeymoon Cake ($8.50) - The presentation was gorgeous, with a glazed top and berries peeking through the cream. The staff described it as "light," but I didn't find that to be the case. The cream was tasty, but the sponge cake was rough and felt stale, which detracted from the experience. The overall flavor was floral. 3) Fruit Tart ($7.50) - This was my favorite of the three. The cream was delicious. It's worth noting that it only came with strawberries, so it didn't feel like a true "fruit" tart. Overall, Delight Pastry offers a stunning environment with some beautifully crafted desserts, but the flavors and textures left me wanting more. I'd come back for the ambiance, but I hope they work on improving the quality of their pastries.

I recently got my birthday cake from Delight Pastry & I absolutely loved it. I ordered a small customized vintage cake - pistachio rose raspberry type of filling. * The cake came out exquisite with all the pretty details including a light silvery shimmer dust. I'm so pleased! * Inside the cake- pistachio rose raspberry fusion was so delicious & tasted so lovely. I am not a cake fan at all but I will definitely be reordering this one for sure. Thank you Delight Pastry team for being so sweet. 10/10 I highly recommend

What an amazing discovery! It's like you have stepped into a Parisian Patisserie. They don't serve decaf but that's alright you can go without or see if they have a tea that has no caffeine. I ordered the Rose Pistachio Mousse it was light and heavenly with a raspberry center. All of their deserts looked wonderful and they also have these tiny little fans above them so that no pesky flying insects touch their beautiful creations. Nice relaxing interiors, modern trending music can be overheard and comfortable seating. Parking garage (presently $10.00) across the street or you can try for street parking... I paid $2.00 for an hour. Respectfully Reviewed.

My daughter came down from Northern California this week. She wanted to taste the best croissants and pastries in Southern California. On Tuesday, I took her to my favorite bakery for croissants. I ordered my usual, butter and raspberry croissants. She ordered a spiral croissants filled with pistachio pastry cream. I also got a raspberry filled danish and chocolate chip cookie for my wife. Everything was delicious. DJ's rating: 4.85/5.00 Would I come back? Definitely Yes!
